Booking Policy
Should you, for any reason, wish to cancel your booking, please advise us as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days prior to the day of arrival. Should your cancellation be within the 14 days a charge equal to the full amount of the booking shall be charged to the provided credit card by Motel Air.
Should we be advised prior to the 14 day cut off period, only the first nights stay shall be retained by Motel Air. This fee shall be retained to cover administration costs. Should any, or all, guests not arrive on the booked date of arrival or a booking reduction (after arrival), Motel Air will charge for the full amount of the booking and no refund shall be given.
Any bookings made for Friday and/or Saturday are non-refundable and this overrides the 14 day cancellation policy.
Check in
Our regular check in time is from 2pm till 11pm. If you arrive earlier, you can store your baggage in the motel's baggage area for free until your room is available. If the room has already been serviced and is available before 2pm, you may have access to the room earlier. Please note that there is an additional fee of £20 for an early check-in. However, we offer a complimentary early check in subject to availability if you booked your stay directly on our website www.motelair.com. If you arrive later than 11pm then there is an additional fee of £20, however this is waived if you have opted for a self check in service.
Check out
Check-out is at 11am on your day of departure. If you wish to check out later than 11am, please contact reception. Please note that there is an additional charge for late check-out. Late check outs are limited, must be pre-arranged with reception and will be charged at a rate of £20 per room and the latest possible check out will be 1pm. Please leave your key card on the reception desk at your check out time otherwise we will charge you £10.00 for replacement of key card.
Arrival at our motel
Upon arrival please head to our reception desk where one of our friendly reception staff will be happy to check you into your room and answer any questions you may have. In certain cases we may preauthorise your reservation prior to your arrival. If the credit or debit card used to make your booking fails to pre authorise for the value of your stay, we will contact you for another card. If we are unable to secure a pre-authorisation on a valid credit or debit card within three days of your arrival date the motel reserves the right to cancel your booking and resell the room. You can pay in cash (GBP Sterling) or via credit / debit card at the time of check in. We will require Photo ID at the time of check in for the lead guest. You will then either be provided with a room key or access to our app facility which allows you access to your room using your smartphone as the room key. All residents must be 21 years or older. Any younger guests must be accompanied by an adult (person 21 years or older).
Reserving a room at our motel
To provide you with best available price on any given day of the year, we operate a sophisticated price management system, which enables us to guarantee you the best quote for the duration of your stay at the time of your enquiry. Call our Reservations Team on 0141 842 1788 , or book online at www.motelair.com or email the motel directly at info@motelair.com. Our official website is the only booking platform where best rates are guaranteed. Should you find that your preferred dates are not available through our online system, please phone the motel to access real-time availability.
Damage to motel property
An individual who negligently or intentionally causes damage to the motel or any furniture or furnishings within the motel, shall be fully liable for damages sustained by the motel, including the motel's loss of income resulting from the inability to sell a room while the damage is being repaired. The motel reserves the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, the motel reserves the right to make a charge to the guest credit/debit card provided at the time of booking / check in.
Guest behaviour
Guests are asked to conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Guests are asked not to disturb the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the well-ordered running of the motel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or ask you to leave the premises if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider that you or any member of your party has behaved inappropriately. Where this is the case, we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
Loss / Damage
The motel does not accept any liability whatsoever for loss or damage to any guest property in the motel or in the car park area. All rooms are equipped with in-room safes. If any guest’s personal belongings are lost whilst staying at motel, if recovered, the item will be recorded as 'found'. Any items in the lost and found which are not claimed within 14 days will be donated to a local charity or discarded.
Smoking / Pets
All areas within Motel Air are designated no smoking and no pets are allowed. We have a zero-tolerance smoking policy in the motel. Smoking, in any area of the motel, is a serious criminal offence and will be treated as such, possibly resulting in the eviction of anyone breaking this regulation. Should you wish to smoke you are kindly asked to use the outdoor designated smoking area of the motel. There is a £150 charge for any guest failing to comply with our policy.
